At the top of the list, the 3080 Ti Founders Edition looks to entice buyers with the latest features such as:
- Supercharged Ray Latency
- AI-Powered DLSS
- 60 fps-Plus High-Fidelity 4K Gaming
When you consider the specs, it’s easy to see that NVIDIA has created a card that can compete with most of the 3090’s performance, with a friendlier price tag. In most measurements, the RTX 3080 Ti performs just near 1-2 fps of the RTX 3090.
How Much Does The 3080 Ti Founders Edition Cost?
Due to the global semiconductor shortage, the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti will likely prove challenging to get your hands on at its initial price of $1,199 (£1,049, AU$1,949). In fact, the few available on the initial market will likely fall into the hands of third-party resellers, who will raise the resale price.
Is the 3080 Ti Founders Edition worth the steep price tag? While the features are powerful and the graphics capabilities are second-to-none, the Ti Founders Edition is only a couple hundred dollars cheaper than the 3090 version – with similar features and power. However, the budget-conscious gamer who wants to enjoy the latest in gaming capabilities won’t want to miss their chance to get their hands on this latest card for a better price than the 3090.
Want To Grab NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 3080 Ti Founders Edition? Good Luck!
The release of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti Founders Edition promises to offer users an even faster, better, and more responsive gaming performance. In the initial Best Buy release, very limited quantities of the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti Founders Edition graphics card were available for purchase. Sales kicked off on June 3rd in select Best Buy stores and were sold exclusively in-store, harkening back to the days of pre-COVID product release events.
Best Buy team members were on hand to dole out tickets to those waiting in line beginning at 7:30 AM, with the number of tickets matching the number GeForce RTX 3080 Ti Founders Edition cards on hand.
In a report from PCMag, it turns out that the limited supply was truly limited. According to some gamers trying to get their hands on the cards, some Best Buy stores only received 64 3080 Ti Founders Edition units on the release date.
This available amount is startling, considering the sheer size of some metropolitan areas compared to number of nearby Best Buy stores. PCMag reported that the Best Buy in West Los Angeles – the only Best Buy serving a population of 4 million people – saw nearly 200 hopeful PC users line up to try and grab their ticket. Unfortunately, the West LA store only had 64 cards to sell.
